STS Teacher's Appreciation Day - Wai Kru - 2019

On Thursday, June 13th, 2019, STS family annually celebrated the Teachers' Appreciation Day (called 'Wai Kru' in Thai) in which students pay respects to their teachers in order to express their gratitude and formalize the student–teacher relationship.

The event included a special and traditional Thai ceremony where students performed Thai musical instruments and spoke about their teachers.

Our director Dr.Kwantip Chinsettawong opened the ceremony and then teacher representatives spoke about their love and care for their students. At the end, students presented their special flowers and gifts to their teachers. It was a beautiful ceremony!
