A new year comes with new beginnings. STS proudly celebrated our first day of school today with a myriad of activities to make our new students feel immediately welcome!
First, staff members and senior students gathered along the central hallway to greet the new students joining our ranks with roses, traditional Buddhist bracelets and good wishes. This marked an auspicious start for them as they embarked on a new academic journey here at Sunflower.
Homerooms teachers then had the opportunity to bond with their classes with some precious homeroom time, forging bonds that will support them for the year ahead.
Finally, grades 7 through 12 gathered in our hall for an orientation session that presented them with all the exciting activities lined up in the upcoming months.
