Research-Based Learning (RBL)
Here at STS, we find value in a student’s independence and pursuit in personal interests very important. A Research-Based Learning curriculum allows students to work at their own pace in their subjects. Those that tend to learn quickly can move on to other topics without having to wait for others while those that need more time to complete their classwork can take their time to learn and review the material thoroughly.
With research-based learning, classes meet periodically to discuss the material that was assigned where the teacher assumes that each student already knows the material and the class time can be spent discussing that material at length, clarifying misunderstood concepts and presenting the next topic. This type of learning requires a certain level of discipline and teaches students how to work independently.
Sunflower Trilingual School is my second home. I've been studying here for 8 years - studying here is full of fun! STS always create new experiences for me and develop me in many ways.
