Learning Beyond Borders: Bridging Cultures with Our Friends from Taiwan

What an incredible week it has been! From January 19-23, 2026, Sunflower Trilingual School had the distinct honor of hosting the Taoyuan Bilingual Promotional Office and their wonderful students for our special activity, "Learning Beyond Borders."

The atmosphere was filled with excitement as students from Taiwan joined us for a week of cultural exchange, academic discovery, and unforgettable adventures. Here is a look back at the highlights of this amazing camp.

Fun and Engaging Classroom Activities

The learning didn't stop at language; it extended into creativity and science! Our classrooms were buzzing with energy as Thai and Taiwanese students collaborated side-by-side.

• Artistic Expression: Students unleashed their creativity in our painting workshops, creating colorful canvas pieces to take home.

• Science & Discovery: Curiosity took the lead in our science labs, where students conducted hands-on experiments together.

• Cultural Exchange: We shared the rhythm of our cultures, from traditional Thai dance performances to the fun and challenging bamboo dance!

  
  

Embarking on a Field Trip to Explore Thailand

Education goes beyond four walls, and this week was proof of that. We took our guests on a journey to explore the rich heritage and vibrant life of Thailand.

• The Ancient City (Muang Boran): Students hopped on trams to explore the breathtaking replicas of Thailand’s most famous temples and palaces, immersing themselves in history.

• City Adventures: The group experienced the modern side of Bangkok with visits to ICONSIAM and Central World, enjoying the fountain shows and doing some souvenir shopping at Big C.

• Active Fun: It wasn't all sightseeing! The students got moving with swimming sessions and even experienced Thailand's legendary martial art with a Muay Thai class at Sittichai Boxing Gym.

  
  

Certificates of Completion & Lasting Friendships

As the camp came to a close, we held a touching farewell ceremony. Each student was awarded a Certificate of Completion to mark their participation in this unique program.

While the certificates acknowledge their learning, the true reward was the friendships formed. Seeing students from different backgrounds laugh, play, and learn together reminds us that friendship truly has no borders.
