One can never reiterate the importance of recycling too much!
As an important reminder of what they have learned in their STS Saves the World thematic learning activities, our Grade 3 students participated in a seminar to learn about the multiple ways in which waste can be given a second life.
Our pupils were shown examples of several clever ways to reinvent disposable plastic, such as making creative and crafty hats.
Our visiting experts also explained the different methods of waste disposal for substances like dry waste and wet waste. Students learned about the differences between regular garbage disposal, recycling, and composting.
This crucial information is essential as our students learn to be responsible citizens who have the power to transform the world with every eco-friendly step they take.
