STS Saves the World: A Day of Environmental Action and Innovation

The Science Department held its "STS Saves the World" culminating activity on September 12, 2025, and it was a massive success, blending creativity with crucial environmental awareness.
The event kicked off with a unique fashion and science show. Students demonstrated incredible resourcefulness by creating stunning designs from recycled materials, wowing the crowd with their ingenuity. This was followed by a dynamic science show hosted by Grade 12 students, which left the audience in awe and sparked their curiosity.
Throughout the day, students were able to get hands-on with various interactive activities that reinforced what they had learned in class. The event also featured a series of booths showcasing outstanding student projects and innovative teaching methods.
It was truly a day filled with fun, excitement, and new knowledge for the entire school community. The event served as a powerful reminder of our role as caretakers of the planet, reinforcing the message that "The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it." It’s a call to action for all of us to be stewards of change.
