Building stronger IB MYP interdisciplinary practices at STS

Sunflower Trilingual School successfully launched its first MYP Category 1 Interdisciplinary Teaching and Learning Workshop on February 6–7, 2026.

The two-day professional development was facilitated by Ms. Kirandeep Manocha, an IB MYP Theatre and Interdisciplinary Unit (IDU) Examiner, Content Developer, and experienced IB Workshop Leader.

During the workshop, STS educators actively engaged in the MYP teaching and learning approach, gaining deeper insight into interdisciplinary unit planning and effective MYP classroom practices. The training empowered teachers to design meaningful, inquiry-based learning experiences that promote critical thinking, collaboration, and real-world connections among students.
